Rob Kelly was a useless cnut and I thought it treatment was more than understated. The cnut should have been sacked six months previous

A few wins and the fans wanted him appointed.

The old board leapt at the chance to make a cheapo appointment.

Kelly didn't appear to particularly want the job.

The fans can't be blamed because they have no responsibility so the blame was mainly on the old board. They also kept him on long after it was obvious that he was out of his depth...presumably because they couldn't afford to sack him and pay for a new manager.

I didn't like Kelly as a person, I appreciate I'm in the minority.

Kelly was a charlatan and out of his depth. He knew it, but he wasn't prepared to walk and he would have taken mine, ours and your club with him.

He would have destroyed Leicester City just to keep him in a job, for this reason I think he's a cnut. But as I said, I appreciate I'm in the minority.

he was the typical caretaker manager. did enough when it was desperately needed, yet turned out to be shite. add to that little piece that he was ****in clueless as a manager and a total arse, that was his downfall

I couldn`t agree more Pontus, if it wasn`t for Kelly keeping us up the season befor and we`d of dropped down into leauge 1, i don`t think Mandaric would of been interested. Do you?

It`s a bit like this foot and mouth aint it, you cant touch it and you wouldnt want to.

I actually wish him all the best. He did what he could in very difficult circumstances. He wasnt up to it granted but the guy did his best in difficult circumstances up until the point MM turned up.

His time came and went and yes we were poor last season but I dont think anyone we could have attracted at the time of appointment would have done any better.

Good luck to him and thanks for keeping us up the previous season.

The fecking Cnut should have never been given the full time job at the club, a caretaker manager is there for short term and not to run the club...theres a reason he is a caretaker manager....cause he is taking care of the club untill someone better then him comes in...what a arse he was

This time last year we had the likes of Josh Low, Andy Johnson and Andy Welsh as our exciting new recruits thanks to that buffoon.

And don't start with the 'no money' rubbish, every year there are loads of freebies about, picking some half decent ones isn't that difficult.

He did the job of steadying the ship and prevented freefall into Div 1.

He obviously could not make the step up from coach to manager so long term could get more out of the players. Obviously short on ideas - like for like subs etc.

No such thing as 'freebie' player. They want signing on fees and wages, so unless you are saving by shipping out, they are never free.

RK did the job required at the time, for which I am grateful and it is not his fault that a Board strapped for cash offered him a job he did not want!

I dont think it was a case of complaining. Complaining up until the point MM turned up was futile.

I whole heartedly agree with you Kelly wasnt up to it but then neither was the club really was it.

What I am saying to you is that Kelly wasnt or isnt a cnut. He was a crap manager with poor players at a craply run going now where club who would have only replaced him with a like for like crap manager had we not been taken over.
That doesnt make him a cnut it just makes him inadequate.

Without the changes we would have ended up in the league below with Kelly in charge but only a small proportion of that slide would have been down to Kelly. The vast majority of it would have been due to every other fcuker who made a balls up of it in the previous seasons.

Even more to the point if he hadn't have kept us up (after Levien) I don't think that MM would have considered us if we were in Div 1. So on that point he has my eternal admiration
