I would rather players came here seeing Leicester as a big opportunity. It is difficult to imagine a former Arsenal first teamer being that enthusiastic about playing for Leicester or being willing to do the dull stuff tracking back etc. The midfield signing that would excite me (permanent or loan) would be Jay Spearing.

Some arrogant Arsenal fan on another forum reckons that if we sign Pires despite him being past his prime and probably only has a season or two left in him, he will instantly stroll into our side and become the greatest player in our history. :icon_roll

Then seems to ignore the fact we had 3 of England's greatest ever player's in their primes and 2 players who scored over 260 goals each for us and went on about how Pires was better because he was a better dribbler and passer 8 years ago than any of these, ignoring their other attributed. The arrogance of big 4 fans never fails to astound me.
