Has to be good news. Here's Hoping.

Don't believe the Tigana stuff for the following reasons:

- MM seems to be widening his net rather than closing in on a particular target

- the great proportion of the speculation about Tigana coming to City is coming out of the local media and Leicester message boards- I don't see the same speculation being extended through through the national media. i appreciate that the job doesn't command the same speculation elsewhere, but you would have expected to see more coverage if Tigana was a serious possibility given his profile

- just don't think Tigana would see the job as attractive enough.

Obviously I could be wrong - and if so it would be an interesting appointment.

Could be a bluff to give himself more time to secure Tigana

Do we really want Tigana when it is quite clear that he doesn't really want the job? He would have accepted by now if he really wanted it.

We would want him (need him) if we had to kidnap the fecker, drag him kicking and screaming into the training ground, and hold his whole family hostage at gunpoint to force him to manage us

That's how feckin' desperate we are

Why else do you think MM is out of the country at the moment?

All that - and because we are so desperate is one of the reasons why I wouldn't think it will happen.

As someone who was absolutely sold on the idea of his takeover, I have to say that things are in a hell of a mess and it's difficult to understand at the moment how he became a successful business man. Perhaps it's age catching up with him or perhaps its his luck that has run out

Or how about the simple fact that despite offering generous resources and excellent facilities, the best managers do NOT want the baggage of a back seat manager, telling them who to buy or play. Unless Milan can let go of the reins he is never going to attract an excellent manager, most of whom are already in relatively secure jobs!

What. The. Fcuk...

Will Mandaric get Barabas ?
Who will work for Milan Mandaric ? The man that said he would sack 20 managers to get City promoted.

Gary Megson couldn't have loved the life at Leicester and rumours are that he was desperate to get back into football and jump ship as soon as any other club came along.

The fact that he got a chance at Bolton made it easy to leave City after only six weeks.

The fact that Milan is a man with "quick reactions" might scare of people that wants a chance to survive in the world of management.

It doesn't matter how much money you have if you cannot get things right out on the pitch. To build a football teams can take years, but to tear it apart can be done in a few months.

It's like buidling a house. To get it up and ready to use, can take half a year to tear it down or lose your house in a fire can just take minutes.

Milan have now appointed three different managers in Nigel Worthington, Martin Allen and Gary Megson, all of them are gone, and no one really knows what City is up to.

A few days a go we wrote about getting Jesus on board, but it could be that Milan can be tempted to let Barabas take the managers job.

Barabas is not the right choice for City, let's hope that we know will get the right man and that who ever is appointed either not jump ship or gets the sack after a few bad results.

Nothing. We just need something on the pitch to hold people's attention.

Or, how about one manager ended up snorting coke (alegedly) and another ended up ****ing off at the first offer from prem club. You could say he has been royally screwed by two people he put trust in. Though that probably wouldn't fit with the anti-MM spin

Apart from buying a player (BN'G) or suggesting others (JFH), what proof is there that Mandaric interferes with the manager at all? :102:
