I’ll join the board if the invite is a serious one.

I’ve worked in professional sport in various capacities for over 20 years in a few leadership positions. I’ve never wanked on a public bus and I think I could add value in an advisory role.

I look forward to hearing from the Trust.
Board is an elected position subject to elections (if enough people come forward).

Sub groups are there for the use of such expertise. So feel free to contact the board via the website directly and get you slotted in.

They like it all cozy as it is. They wouldn’t invite someone competent along.
It’s stayed as it is because no one ever stood for election. Once a member, anyone is free to stand for election. Moan about it rotten but the organisation is as it stands because apathy has allowed to be that way

An interesting fact about Rudkin (that may not be true), as a boy he was passionate about subbuteo. This passion stayed with him into adulthood. As the pieces were damaged, and due to their rarity, got more and more expensive to replace, but he did not care and spent a fortune on replacing them. Or, if he was having a lie-in, or on holiday, or didn't really care day, he would just replace them with whatever he could dig out of the bin and stick them together with glue. If ever you go round his house for a game of subbuteo it may look something (or nothing) like this.......Rudkin subbuteo.png
