NP would be outstanding at the role he excelled at before. Namely setting up the right people into the right roles across the club.

That's not what a DOF does. NP would be a terrific Director of Football Operations.

Absolutely. Shouldn't be hard either. As a former employee of a soulless corporate monolith I'm well aware that "kick the useless **** upstairs & let him play a lot of golf during the week" is a common approach.

Just move Rudkin full time into the racing organisation. That was Vichai's passion project. Top has never shown any sign of being remotely interested in it so it won't matter when Jonboy destroys it. It's already on the skids anyway.
It also gives the twat lots of opportunities to hobnob with incredibly rich people, which I have no doubt gives him most of his firmest erections.

Then get in somebody with a genuine record as a DoF & with ZERO connection to LCFC. A clean slate. Someone who can look at the ****ing hideous state of the squad & infrastructure & not have any qualms about ripping the whole thing to pieces, which is absolutely what it requires.

It's a 5 year project at this point. Keep going as we are for much longer & it'll take 10.
