As if there wasn't enough evidence as to the clubs incompetence - here it is laid bare.

I’m now really ****ed off with them, I’ve excused Top’s incompetence due to him being placed into his role without adequate training and time.

I’m afraid that as of now that has well and truly run out.

To be sitting here with with just a week to go in the most important transfer window so once we were relegated with no sign gas of reinforcements is nothing short of ****ing scandalous.

Because a competent DoF would have to tell him he doesn't know what he's doing & should stay out of the way instead of being all matey with the players & leave the important stuff to those qualified to do it.

Much is said of the club's tight/limited/non-existent communication. BR says the club only told him that there was no money to sign players after he'd already tapped up spoken to players. Had he told the club he was going to do that? What made him think he could? Communication works two ways.

BR was pulled up on his actions and then proceeded to sulk for the rest of the season.

BR was right though in his insistence as much as a plonker he was. The playing squad needed a refresh - everything from then on has illustrated it.

There isn't a manager in the world who isn't working in the background in prospective players ears.

We have reports now of Rodgers being the first of three managers deceived over the clubs capability in the transfer market

"deceived" is an emotive word. I'm sure the club would portay the situation differently. I'm not defending the club, just relunctant to make judgements of situtations I don't have the low down on.

Be careful what you wish for, I understand the frustration and anger out there, I truly believe Top is 100% behind our club, he needs support at board level and a re-evaluation of where we are heading? It may be we are trying to buy players but they do not want to come to us, in the summer it could be argued that the points deduction hanging over us may have had a big impact on players wanting to come to us.

I don't see any movement until the last minute not sure if this because of Rudkin or if it is like the housing market effect i.e. housing chain waiting for one player to move before the rest kicks in?

Over the coming days and weeks, we need to reflect on the processes and decisions that have brought us to this point. What we learn from this experience must convert into action that makes us stronger and prevents this happening to us again in the future.

BR was supported quite significantly in the transfer window prior BR and Congerton made a complete hash of signings IMO. Wanting players is one thing securing their services is another, also did the board lose faith in BR ability to spot talent?
