From sky sports:
Monaco's defensive midfielder Sani Kaita is distraught his 'dream' move to Leicester City has fallen through.
The 24-year-old was poised to join the Foxes this summer on a three-year deal.
But the former Sparta Rotterdam performer saw his hopes of joining the Championship outfit dashed after he did not meet the requirements of his work permit.
Kaita has been denied a switch to the Walkers Stadium after not featuring for Nigeria in up to 75 per cent of their games in the last two years but the midfielder hopes a deal can be struck in the future.
Disappointed
Kaita told skysports.com:" I wanted so much to play in this Championship to help the team move forward.
"I am very disappointed, a dream to play in this country has been turned down by paperwork. I can't forget that a three-year contract is in the water.
"I am a believer so hopefully God has another plan for me, I am disappointed but life continues.
"I know I will come back here again and it will be fine."
Various reports claim the Nigerian International will sign a deal to play for a club in the Russian League next week before the transfer market closes after spending the last years on loan at Kuban Krasnodar, Lokomotiv Moscow and Alania Vladikavkaz.
