I'm going to guess!

Henderson 6 - flapped to much

Kenton 6
McCarthy 7 - too inconsistent!
Kisnorbo 7
Nils 5 - nobody likes him!

Low 6
Hughes 6 - dissapears too often.
Johnson 6 - too old!
Tiatto 6 - would be 7 but most people still don't like him!

Fryatt 6 - needs a goal to boost his confidence.
O'grady 7 - he's a world beater!

Porter 7 - the next joachim (except he's a wiinger!)
Stearman 6

I am not a big fan of Nils Eric but today I thought he did really well. Some good defending and also popped up in the opposition area a couple of times. That was his best performance this season.

He was shit, apart from the work he did to earn the corner that led to the goal

I wouldn't say he was shit, but he didn't stand out as being great.

I didn't think Fryatt played well today either, although we really didn't get the ball up to the attackers enough today.

Porter was the biggest plus point today IMO. When he came on he looked nippy, and got a few good crosses in

For the first half of the first half I played Fryatts performance on lack of balls to him, but as the game progressed and O'Grady kept nodding ball after ball to him and he did nothing I had to admit the fact he had an off game. Hume seemed to run alot more and had more about him when he came on.
If Tiatto ever plays again for us it will be a disgrace, he was a liability when he was on

give him one more season and he will be pure class ,he was unlucky not to have got a goal today aswell

Agreed O'Grady did win th ball in the air but it was head to ball rather than direct the ball to someone. He had decent game but for the first 29 min. we were plonking high balls in again. We didn't take control of the game till we started passing the ball. There seemed to be a lack of understanding between Fryatt & COG and it showed with a below par performance from Fryatt.

:018: I am not a fan of Tiatto and have criticised him in the past but I think that against Ipswich and Southend he worked hard and crossed the ball a lot better. I also think Levi Porter is a gem and if he continues to put in performances like he has in the last 3 games Tiatto will struggle to get a place.

Paddy Kisnorbo was my MOM today. He had Eastwood in his pocket and kept him out of the game.
Porter was great to watch and I am sure he will mature into a good player.
Fryatt was crap again and seemed lazy and slow. A few times AJ put some lovely balls through and Fryatt could just not read them.
CO'G was average, nothing special and I cannot see him improving either. As Bilborough has said, he headed the ball, or the ball hit him, and he never knew where the fecking thing was going. I hope he does improve and proves me wrong, but CO'G is not our saviour and I cannot see him returning 10 goals a season/
I can also see why we have signed McCauley, as Paddy Mac is going to be suspended soon with his yellow cards he stupidly picks up most games.
Henderson still has me crapping myself, and I believe its time to give Logan a run out as against Macclesfield he seemed very confident.

But oday we got 3 points and thats all that matters. I would rather see a crap game and LCFC win, rather than a fantastic display and lose. Winning is everything.....

Henderson 6 - Clean Sheet but has me crapping myself every time the ball is anywhere near his area.

Kenton 6 - Solid defensively but his distribution and attacking play was not the best.

Kisnorbo 8 - Superb today, kept one of the most highly rated strikers in the division quiet, another great goal as well.

McCarthy 7 - Excellent partnership with PK, as solid a central defensive partnership we have had since Elliott / Taggart / Walsh era.

Nils 5 - Campbell Ryce really gave him the run around today, he was exposed for his obvious lack of pace. It was only the lack of a decent end product that we were not punished.

Low 5 - Not at his best today, but too be fair he kept plugging away and overall has had a decent start to his City career.

Johnson 6 - Worked hard, tries to retain possession and is a leader, however never influenced or stamped his authority on the game today.

Hughes 6 - Worked hard but lacked creativity.

Tiatto 6 - Again looked solid but again had to leave the action with a knock.

Fryatt 5 - Poor today and seems to be lacking confidence, IMO he needs to get his head together over the international break, at the moment he seems to be playing with the weight of the world on his shoulders.

O'Grady 6 - Worked hard and did provide a different option, however lacks quality IMO, certainly doesn't look like a 15 a goal season striker, in many instances his control and touch were not the best, however needs a run of games to truly be able to judge. But from what I have seen he looks like a pacier De Vries but better in the air.

Subs

Porter 7 - Looked livley and made things happen, really seems to be gaining in confidence, IMO must be given the starting berth at left midfield.

Hume 6 - Missed 2 great chances but at least he looked a threat.

Not a great performance, but a win, another clean sheet and too be fair very few scares. A good sign is that we won without playing well and too be honest this was a game we would have lost last season, a sign in itself of the progress we seem to be making.

I thought Southend played some decent football and that Steve Tilson should be proud of the progress his club has made over the past 2 seasons, just thought they lacked a cutting edge. They will win over many fans if they continue to perform in that manner.

Agree with you about Kisnorbo, superb game and a goal.

Very impressed with Porter, seems to have got his confidence at this level and started to run at defenders causing them all sorts of problems.

Thought AJ was under par today, started the match hitting aimless long balls to nobody. Improved a bit after that but still for me he was dissappointing.

Thought Paddy Mac was steady and unlucky with a lot of the decisions that went against him. The strikers seemed to fouling him as much as he was them and the decision went against most times.

Fully agree with final sentiment. In the last 2 years we have played well and got nothing that's why we have been in the bottom half of the table. Decent performance yesterday but the result was what mattered.
