Anybody think it would be worth starting the campaign on saturday ?

I feel like the club has sold it's soul, if they can rid themselves of the Birch to save a pittance then what next ?

'WE WANT OUR LEICESTER BACK' (and that includes The Birch).

I'd like to know what he does for his 30k first.

I don't get down there but I think Birchenall is past his sell by date, same old shite each week apparently.

Doesn't he do alot of the 'meet and greet' on the hospitality side of things? As well as his hilarious half time antics......

He is an ambassador for our club, he is part of the furniture and he genuinely loves the club. Why get rid of an ex player who provides a reminder to our past, he is the link between the young and the old, the one piece of Leicester City all fans have in common.

Some traditions we should cling to and IMO Birch is one of them, if they can get rid of him then nothing will be safe.

I agree but 30k (if it's true) For a couple of hours every two weeks?!?!?!?

He will do other tasks and be involved in various functions throughout the week and so on. I dont think you will find his working week is condensed into a saturday afternoon every other week and the occasional night match.

Personally I just dont want to see Birch shipped out as he is passionate about Leicester and the club would not be the same without him. It is a shoddy way of treating a former player.

Yep and I aint afraid to admit it, and surely that is what football is all about, hence all the reminiscing about the past, Filbo, Sir Gary, MON et al all sentimental bullshit but everything the game is about, including worshipping former heroes. If we do get shut of Birch then we will have sold out and god knows what could be next.

I'm not bothered about it either way, chain yourself to the gates PFKA if you want, its what goes on on the Park that concerns me.I try to look forward and not back.

But if what we read is true then it directly affected the performance and result on saturday, so it does matter.
