Or Lee Morris

Or both of them up front in one of the most lethal partnerships this country has ever seen

Don't laugh, it might be true........

i hope morris is fit soon when he played before he looked very promising. get him back andgive him a chance CL

The Saviour of our season could be Micky Adams. How ironic would that be!!

I'd certainly give Lee Morris a chance IF he is ever fit.Blake is as bad as Connolly probably worse.Next two games I'd stick with 4-5-1 with MDV the one,he did OK in that position against Charlton.Connolly should be left out completely, played in the Reserves and hopefully score some goals and get his confidence back.If he can't score for the Reserves then.......I know MDV hasn't looked great but he 's had alot less matches than others, not saying he's the answer but give him a fair chance.Could even stick Hughes up front! and there is always Dublin at least he's a proven Goalscorer. What we really need is someone in ,Jeffers, horrible bastard but scores goals.

People astound me! they really do. MDV was lauded 2 weeks ago for first class performance against Charlton. Now all of a sudden he is useless and should be dropped, for gods sake give him a chance. He has started what 3/4 games?

All the negativity at the moment will only result in making the situation worse.

I have been down this weekend too, havent looked at a newspaper or been on here but you have to say we were the best team yesterday by a country mile. We need to stay positive or we will be in trouble.

I would like to bet that the the gloom mongers will return to 'all smiles' on saturday for the day!

I think we should play De vries and Dublin both upfront for Blackburn. I think Connolly probably needs to be dropped. He is not even the quickest and if he's scoring the goals either then we might aswell play the two big men up there.

I would go for:

Walker
Maybury
Heath
Kenton
Stewart
Gillespie
Hughes
Williams
Tiatto
De Vries
Dublin

Subs

Hirchfield
Stearman
McCarthy
Gudjonnsson
Connolly

I think that's a team that can definately beat Blackburn.

I wouldnt even entertain the idea of dropping Gudjonsson when available.

Connolly. I hate him and have done the whole season but he's meant to be our goalscorer. Hes got to get on to MDV's flick ons which are always going over the top of defenders and if someone was on their last man then he'd (connolly) be in. Connolly does have a bit of pace in him so if he spends more time in his position than on the wing then we would get so many more goals. Everyone critisizing MDV won't help in the slightest as he's not the goalscorer ,hes the big man their to flick it on, Connolly is. At the moment I have no faith whatsoever in him and I probably will never have any in him but he's the best we've got at the moment and we've got to put up with that. Levein will hopefully tell him to get himself together and tell him where he should be playing.Relegation is a possibility at the moment but Levein has got the right attitude and I'm confident he'll steer us away from their. He's brought in some top quality players and next season we'll be pushing for promotion hopefully whatever division we're in.
SO FOR THE MOMENT KEEP THE FAITH

..... Nathan Blake. The reason why I say this is because I am urgently trying to find an answer to our striking problems, :-( :? :? :? :smt087 :smt085 :smt081 , and because he is lazy (doing his job properly :smt107 :smt103 ) enough to stay in those areas where the ball is going instead of constantly drifting out of position. ;-) :smt023

I'm sorry but Tommy Wright is crap and he's not put 1 good performance in this season and if anyone can remember one then I'm intrigued to know. He was promising, people thought he had talent, shame people are always wrong. Same as Connolly, everyone thought he would be top scorer in the league this season hasn't performed. Leicester City badly needs young talent who's leicester through and through and will want to play well for us a homegrown player a leicester lad. Not sure it's going to happen soon though.

I'm sorry but i have not seen mdv flick on any balls yet. He can hold the ball up well don't get me wrong, but flicking the ball on from goal kicks is definately something he has not been doing, infact yesterday his heading in general was dire.

Maybe you were watching a different game to me because time and time again De Vries was flicking the ball on.

 Is this some kind of joke were you say the most ludicrous thing about what happened in yesterdays game? If it is then Alan Rogers looked like he had a slim line figure and should be called up to the England Squad after a dazzling display of pace and skill. If it isn't a joke then it just shows that some people can watch a totally different game because IMO MDV was appalling in the air.

Really?

Every time he went up for a header he seemed to completely mistime his jump and miss the ball.

couldnt have put it better

Maybe we need to try the 4-3-1-2 formation.

I think Sam was watching a different game - the video of Charlton away

De Vries' performance was one of the most bizarre I have seen for a long time. It was almost like he didn't want to head the ball, and was timing his jumps to completely miss it

Can't say I've ever seen anything quite like it
