I think that is nonsense.Most of the extremely upset and angry fans had left leaving mainly the BM's and the kids.
Most of those left were ardent supporters simply standing in disbelief that they had suffered this season at home and it had all finished in such a fashion.
People in front of the Kop were consoling each other - not waiting for players to return. They were waiting for someone to find where their hope had gone, dust it off and give it back to them.
I was waiting to be proved wrong, for God to exist and send a f*cking thunderbolt at the changing room.
