Brian Carey, formerly centre-half of this parish, has temporarily been given the reins at CPD Wrecsam after the Board finally tired of the efforts of Dennis Smith and another former City star Kevin 'Rooster' Russell and sacked them - so says the gwefan swyddogol.

Brian is always a contender for a place in my worst ever LCFC team.....I would describe him as a mummified rather than static defender....ex- Man U reserves of course.

Still it's good to see him doing OK - sorry about Rooster tho' - really special 15 mins cameo play..a sub who did make a difference.

Sorry to have a dig at RK again and the present day set up, but in the main (last weekend apart) our subs rarely look if they could make any sort of impact on the pattern of a game.
