Microsoft's Virtual Earth mapping thing has just updated the Leicester area using the new 3D and 'Birds Eye' views. (Nothing to do with Fish Fingers)

You have to download the 3D viewer to see the 'Birds Eye' sights but they do seem pretty good photos that can be viewed from many angles.
All Leicester is included, even the house where I was born...(now that IS scary)

The houses at the bottom look like they are spelling out a word.

Pretty much all Leicester and surrounding area is in the new fangled glittering 3D version but you have to download the 3D Virtual Earth from Microsnoft to see it.

The old 20th Century 2D version (also used by flashearth) prob wont be updated. It still has Filbert St ground, where the 3D Birds Eye view has the new 12 storey appartment building thing.
