Script messages

I've been getting quite a few boxes pop up on screen telling me "a script on this page may be busy".

Any idea how I can stop these? Is it a piece of software I am missing?

The last box to pop up had the following web address in it:

That's just it, I wasnt! I was on here when that particular script message popped up. Firefox has a google search home page, would this cause it?

It's probably nothing to do with Google apps.

Maybe there's a corrupt cached version and clearing the browser's cache will fix it.

Press ctrl+f5

Ah I didn't check. I have used the hosted version of jquery in the past so should have known.

The instructions on that page tell you how to completely clear the cache, B155's will try to force your browser to reload just the stuff that's needed for the current page. If your problem is related to a cached version of the file either version should fix it.
I think it's a good idea to completely clear the cache now and again. The cache is supposed to speed things up but I find that if it gets too big it can slow things down.

I had noticed that my laptop had got incredibly slow, so I've set it up that it clears history, cache etc when I close firefox now. Thanks again Jeff, I wouldnt have had a clue otherwise.

It will only speed up your browser not the overall running of your laptop.
