My old man turns 60 on the 27th of Sept and i thought i'd look into getting him a season ticket as he loves the City.
I assumed as he'd be 60 he would be entitled to the senior citizens discount. However i noticed on the website that they say there is a cut off date for concession prices of Sept 1st.
Surely if i don't buy the ticket until 27th Sept when he is infact 60 he should be entitled to the discount. He will not have been able to see the earlier fixtures when he was 59 and so is therefore not gaining any advantage. Infact the first available fixture would be the Stoke game on the 29th when he would be 60+.
The difference in price is quite a lot so will have an impact on whether i can afford it or not.
Anyone had a similar situation or can offer advice, as i have not been able to get a response from the box office as yet.
