Very, especially as there is no guarantee she will get time off for good behaviour. She might serve the full term.

"Time off for good behaviour" how absurd is that statement. If you were good in the first place you wouldn't be in there.

IMO, should do your full stretch, and then if you're good let out. If you're not, get time extended.:icon_evil

The prison system is already at melt down.

If remission was removed (and current sentences extended for 'not being good') there is absolutely no way that the they could cope with the numbers.

I appreciate there is no straight forward answer, but if more prisons were actually built when the cry out for more was first raised then maybe, just maybe the situation might not be as bad as it is.

Exactly. If the prisons are full we let criminals out early. Pathetic. If we can't build more capacity quickly enough then quadruple them up in their cells or use prison ships.
