I'm a big believer in signing players better than what you currently have. I don't realistically see Maloney being part of our best 11.

Nice player mind. Skillful, penchant for the odd spectacular goal.

He is not a wide player, in fact he has always been useless when pushed out wide.

His role is central as an attacking midfield / link player.

I hope we haven't got thoughts of using him as a wide man like GTF.

I actually think he does improve our 11. When played in the correct position that is.

Correct position would be in place of El Nuge? He does have a very good understanding with Leonardo and Vardy when played with either up front, so I'm not sure he's that big an improvement all told.
