It was my one and only visit to Hillsborough thus far.

Proper shit ground. in an alternate reality where cover ups don't exist it would have been flattened decades ago. Think I've been twice. Once for O'Neills final (?) Game in charge where we got bummed and once when king scored or something, **** knows. One of those timed i paid extra for a non restricted view seat and had a quite restricted view.

Been there for the final, obviously, and a couple of times in the eighties - also sure I saw us win there in the Premier League (Cottee?)

It‘s a horrible shithole

Unless he fancies a season playing for them in League One next year, this is probably going to be Vardy's final game at Hillsborough.

His home club and he's never scored there or against Wednesday. Let go by them 20 years ago now.

The last - but also - the one and only time I've been there was 1969 FA Cup Semi -Final against West Brom.
Alan Clarke score the only goal to get us to the Final

3 points clear of 2nd
10 points clear of 3rd
15 points clear of 7th
30 points clear of relegation
….
36 points clear of Sheffield Wednesday.

They’ve scored 8 goals in 17. We’ve conceded 10.

We’ve scored 31 and they’ve conceded 29.

Irrelevant of the result neither teams league position is going to change.

Home banker.

I’d start Vardy. And Winks. Otherwise as you were.

I wouldn’t describe their fans as confident….

Hadn't realised Danny Cadamarteri's (doo doo doo) son plays for them. Probably because of the end of the pitch he plays.
