It's definitely longer than any other team in the top 4 divisions though. I remember the stat being batted about quite a bit earlier this season.
Pathetic isn't it? 50 years now apparently of never finishing in top six of a division!
It's 40, not 50. They finished 6th in the 1969-70 season.
That's still a bloody long time...
Not long enough for them.

Question 1: Who finished fourth in the Football League 3rd Division in 1962/63?
Question 2: Who finished top of the Football League 3rd Division in 1963/64?
Question 3: Who finished third in the Football League 2nd Division in 1965/66?
Question 4: Who finished top of the Football League 2nd Division in 1966/67?
No! It's bloody hilarious. :icon_lol:
What makes it even funnier is you just know Ranson will stick by Coleman even though it's quite clear that he's an awful manager.
Apparently not! I have just heard he has been sacked!!!!

Pedants.
Not funny.
Sorry.

Boc would rather correct people when they are quoting misleading statistics rather than risk having them quote them somewhere else where it could lead to embarrassment in front of people who are not friends and have other axes to grind.
If you're going to take the piss out of somebody, it is always better to have your facts exactly right rather than run the risk of them having some comeback. Covscum's record is bad enough without exaggerating it.
