Those who dislike Martin Allen's approach so far. Go on. Convince me. Why am I a naive twat for loving the level of communication I am receiving from Martin Allen? If anyone says 'well, we'll see how he communicates when we have lost three-in-a-row' is full of shite. Don't want to hear it. Right now, why is it bad what we are getting from our manager in terms of committment and communcation? I want to be taught.

I agree with you Alex, I think the attitude is spot on for the coming season. I really believe the guy will get 110% out of the team, and if he can do that we have a chance. He's doing all he can to get the supporters full backin, ok he's a bit crazy but I bet he takes no shit. We've needed à manager with some grit ever since MON. I'm really lookin forward to the start of the season.

I'm Loving it too. I'm pleased that they care enough to communicate with the fans, and it is certainly very entertaining.

However i take some of what he says with a pinch of salt. i can't believe that the players would really get excited about mars bars and a bbq set for example. and i doubt he would tell us if an of the players moaned about anything. he tells the fans what they like to hear.

Nobody dislikes his approach as far as I am aware. It appears to be good old PR bunkum (probably one of the reasons that Mandaric appointed him), and is manna from heaven for those who like that sort of thing. Far better than listening to Kelly or Levein drone on about precisely feck all

But some of us are not wanking ourselves daft because we have a manager who is just flippin' crazee bonkers, mates. The reason we loved O'Neill is because he was a feckin' genius when it came to getting the best out of a group of apparently average players, got us promoted, got us finishing regularly in the top ten of the Premiership, took us into Europe, and won a feckin' cup for fecks sake (twice) - not because he was a bit eccentric and a wacko

I'll praise the man to the highest if he drags this club up from the sheer misery of the last three seasons, and he'll feckin' well deserve it if he does - but I'll judge him on results, thank you

Is that a crime nowadays, or do we all have to get a Martin Allen tattoo on our bollocks to be able to pass any sort of comment these days

not one complain so far, Martin allen brought it a great mix of players and MM said that it was good we didnt get folwer as DJ is better at this level, they have identified the problem and the moment season finished they got straight to it, really looking forward to this season, full of confidence, i can see us doing really well, we have such a strong and mix team with cover for everywhere its good to see MM and MA on the right page at all times.
