Good win against Gloucs though, no wooden spoon, and apart from the jitters at the end today a pretty decent performance for 4 days.

Yes, no wooden spoon, which is good! If it were not for those deducted points at the start of the season after the Glamorgan win Leicestershire, would have come one place higher.

Well its been a tough old season. Yesterday was probably the highlight as we avoided the wooden spoon!

The six players released so far (Jefferson, Dutoit, Dixey, Malik, Jones, Joseph) won't really be missed, If Jefferson could have stayed fit, he would have been an asset but unfortunately things don't always work out.

The 100k cut is concerning. Is this on top of the players who have already been released? We really do need to add to the squad if we want to be competitive not diminishing it further! The club desperately needs another top order batsman and an opening bowler. I'm also not really sure how much more we could reduce the squad to save money. I imagine Hoggard is the only one on any kind of decent money.
