Are we still fecked/doomed/crap/worst team ever/relegated by September or is that all forgotten til we lose again?

I was one of those who who was all doom and gloom, But I have seen the light!!!

Come on CITY

Under RK our home record reads

Won 7
Drawn 3
Lost 3

Not bad really.

Putting it like that its not bad, but i'm not convinced we have cracked it at the Walkers. Even after all this time it still dosent feel like home, even though it is. On Saturday we play Colchester, and imo we should be beating the likes of them at home, but i'm far from confident. In the last few years we have lost far too many games at home to average teams. Maybe because we are not good enough, or maybe its just not an hostile enough venue for opposing teams to fear. Its ironic that many teams that have retained their old grounds have their own unique atmospheres and can be difficult places to get results at. At the Walkers the uniformity of the stadium seems to have resulted in the loss of identity, almost as if the old kop from Filbo as been spread around the Walkers and in general the atmosphere in the ground could be a lot better than what it is

I think boneheads will remain pessimistic.

Its good that the side played better, but the long term trend - in my opinion remains downwards - and even achieving a draw at Sunderland isnt a lot of use with the present points system. Its very important that when we do play well that we pick up three points, so in that sense the result was slightly disappointing.

All that said if this is the start of a better run then I will be delighted to be proved wrong....and no the Hereford game doesnt count...pointless fixture, pointless competition.
