Everyone knew DC would improve, not that he wasnt playing badly just that luck wasnt going his way, this might be a bit conserversal but Ade always tried just like Trev but their luck never changed. If you look at Ade now for Stoke he is bagging them in, look how well he played against Arsenal.

Based on his pre-season form I had a bet that he would be the top scorer in the Championship. Connolly and Dublin were both among the favourites.

The promising thing for me is that CL showed great faith in him and clearly rates him very highly and now Connolly is starting to repay that faith and scoring the goals his efforts deserve.

It bodes well for the second half of the season.

I thought after his display against west ham in the 1st game he would be really good and get is promoted slowly I started to lose faith in him and still doubt he can get us promoted this season or next. But it will be him that will have to perform to get us up because he's our only goalscorer in the team so a lot of pressure for him and I don't know if he can handle it.
