I'm sure he is on a very basic wage, perhaps he brings an intensity to training that keeps other players sharp.

But if he ended the season on loan at a non-league side, I'd say his upside is somewhat limited.

Isn't he a local boy? Perhaps it goes beyond his ability.

That said, I've never seen him play so it's hard for me to judge.

With Oakley, and possibly Nicky Adams potentially on the way, and with Spearing leaving, maybe Pearson is just happy to have a midfielder on the books.

In Alan Birchenall biography i'm sure he says he was bought into a club just because the dressing room needed a lift.
Maybe Verma is first in in the morning and last to leave at night.
Maybe he's a very good influence of on the dressing room.

Ironically, I have heard that somewhere before about one of our players. The one and only...

Yann Kermorgant. Seriously.

Oh ffs..........

and what if Waggy had still missed?
What if Weale didn't save the last Cardiff kick?
What if the flag had've gone up before Chopra fell over in the box?
What if Weale had got a decent wall and someone on the post when when Whittingham took that free kick first leg.
What if Fryatt hadn't missed?
What if we had got one of our penalty appeals?
What if Wayne Brown hadn't fecked up our preparations the day before the first leg?

It is pointless laying ALL the blame on one person.
