exactly, and if we did get a smaller ammount say 500k who would we buy with that money? not necesarily (sp?) a replacement but 500k on one player. who do we get in?

We should get a minimum of 2 million + add ons for Stearman because you are buying a player who has on the whole done very well, you are also buying potential and Stearman should with the right coaching and developement become an excellent player.

Maybe the whole reason he has had such a poor start to the season is the fact that the speculation (if true) has affected him, remember this would be a massive opportunity to not only play for one of the top six clubs in the country, but also to financially secure his family's future.

It is IMO the right time for him to move on for both his own career and the Football Club who can use the money to further improve the squad.
