Good old Leics allow Somerset to put on a 9th wicket partnership of 146 to recover from 200-8 to 357 all out. Stefan Jones gets his second ever ton.

Then to cap it all off Charl Willoughby has taken 3 wickets to reduce us to 56-3 :icon_roll :icon_roll

is there any hope this season because so far we dont look to good

A good fightback to-day 378-7

Willoughby has taken 5 wickets for Somerset

Well someone had to sit out for Snape and it was Allenby who stepped by. I don't think he was the right choice though, playing four specialist batsmen always looked like a mistake.

A team like this for our next game looks decent enough.
Robinson
Maunders
Ackerman
Sadler / New
Nixon
Allenby
Snape
Mansoor Amjad/Henderson
Broad
Masters
Singh

Good performance today although shame we couldn't have got that 5th batting point. We need to get early wickets tomorrow!

Tom New hasn't really done it as an opener in the one-dayers in the past 2 seasons, so I'd drop him down the order. Stick Allenby alongside Robinson to play the Maddy role.

Amjad is training with Pakistan for 2 weeks after this game, so won't be there Sunday.
