Who needs strikers when we've got Big H??

Get in!

6 points from our opening 3 games is a good start.

I'm sure the negatives will come pouring in still, but I'm happy with us winning and grinding out results while our new players adapt to the team and while the rest learn to play without Mahrez (and now Vardy for a bit too).

I’ve always rated Harry and said we should never sell him at any price :)

Smoking strike that nobody was expecting from Maguire papers over the cracks again. Similar to the Wolves game, Southampton bossed it. We booked up a bit after going 1-0 down but then really didn't look like breaking them down even when they had 10 men for the last 15 minutes or so.

Ricardo was wasted today and didn't see as much of the ball as he does at RB, additionally Amartey was pretty poor again. Chilwell probably our MOM.

Three points is three points, we'll all say, but it doesn't tell the story at all

Opposition is down to ten men and we play with four Feckin wingers in a feckin line FFS, and are saved by a crazy goal in injury time

The man is a complete clown, I tells ya, but no one will care because of the scoreline

Onwards and upwards....

What a mad second half.

The Southampton goalkeeper was very charitable for both our goals. Memories of Chris Weale for the Maguire winner.

I'll ignore all the bizarre stuff and just express relief that we've somehow picked up 6 points from the last two games. Very, very welcome.

Chilwell was outstanding in that second half, not sure how he was earlier as I didn't see it.

Mendy looks very steady in the team. Morgan was reliable and solid.

We were absolute shite going forward though. Southampton look in trouble if they lose to us playing like that.

Red card was an excellent decision from Moss.

In summary:
- They were garbage.
- We were worse.
- We won.
- I am confused.

3 points, thank you very much.

We were poor and struggled to beat a team that’s likely to be a relegation candidate all season. But we played quite well against Man U and got nothing, then played poorly in the last two games and won them both.

Football eh?

Just need to get as fortunate as we have last two games and we should be safe.

Lost my head in the match thread, of course. I remain reallllllyfrustrated watching this team.

Madders will be well jel . . .

Delighted with the three points. I'm not usually one for style, I.e., how we win but I really hope performances improve. I would be more hopeful with dull, defensively astute performances which are purposeful than the one today.

6 from 9 so happy with that!
