I'm fine with papering over cracks with wins while the team is gelling!

Maybe it's a case of our luck is bound to run out sooner rather than later though? We see how we go. We seemed to miss Vardy today as an attacking presence. At the back there was no need for us to play Amartey when we've got someone better available in Ricardo. That change was a big mistake from Puel IMO and we've got away with it today. We've added Soyuncu and it's no doubt a matter of time before he recovers and settles in before he replaces Morgan and hopefully then we'll start seeing a more solid back four as Chilwell seems to have improved a lot.

the stream I was watching kept freezing - so very difficult tojudge how well we played throughout ( not very - according to those on here) however it is to our players credit that we keep going right to the end, including added time. That's 3 late goals in 3 consecutive matches . Foxes never quit?

Interesting stat about our away day at Southampton
Having won 4-1 there last season. That's our first back to back win!
Wow!!

Not a vintage performance, but I can see some patterns of play starting to happen.

Chilwell has started the season well.
I think that's the most I've ever seen of Mendy and thought he looked good. Him and Ndidi in midfield will be solid.

Maguire was excellent.

I see some good things from Puels side and then he goes and makes some crazy subs. We really lack striking options .

some positives for me:
winning games despite not playing well.
winning games whilst bedding in new signings.
keeping going until the end.
young/English talent getting our goals: Maddison, Vardy, Gray, Maguire.
still players to come in: Soyuncu, Benkovic
finally having a centre mid partnership that deserves two consecutive games.

negatives:
bizarre subs
lack of striker options or plan b options

Not being at the match I will ask two question and not ask a third.

How well did Mendy play
How well did Kalechi play.

I will not ask about the substitutions since Mr Puel knows if Kalechi, Maddison and Gray.had received knocks or were struggling with fitness.

Another interesting stat. Daniel Amartey made more passes than any other Leicester player. In addition, he was poor.

I went David. I thought Mendy was solid if not spectacular, he worked well with N'didi (the Southampton info board confused the two of them). Nacho was barely in the game, partly due to our poor play in the first half and he had no service. He didn't seem really up for it to me. Missed one half chance that I can recall.
Although we weren't great, I really enjoyed the game. I love it when we come back from a goal down at away grounds. Took my Grandson who's 13 and it was the first game I've taken him to that he loved. I may have finally converted him.

After spending last night drinking at a friend’s 40th party, I have spent all of today drinking at another friend’s 40th party. Consequently I have no idea how the game went today, other than reading about it on here. I’m non the wiser, but at least we won.

I watched it David, though not in attendance. From my perspective the first was solid and the second struggled. I’m a believer in Nacho but he wasn’t involved in what was a difficult first half.

I know you prefer those in attendance but as usual I watched every minute.
