It's schoolboy stuff out there. It really is bad.
 
Absolutely appalling 45minutes from a Leicester side bereft of any quality. Absolutely terribly organised and a formation which has gifted Southampton dominance in front of a defence which is as solid as Homer's tea towel holder.

A serious problem if this standard continues.
 
Drinkwater needs to come off immediately. And possibly sold. His performance is bordering on sabotage.

It's okay. We will spunk 30m or so on a couple of duffers like we did in the summer. That should get us out of this mess.

It's nothing to do with formation or nonsense about changing positions. The back four have been awful and are playing in positions that they've played for the better part of two years. Neither goal was anything to do with midfield either really, just awful defending from players who should know better.

We need quicker (pace and mentally) central defenders. I also don't buy this idea that they don't care, it's frankly ridiculous that people would believe that people who perform their job in such a public arena would just phone in, especially a whole team inluding a manager.
 
Not really sure what is going on in midfield. Gray is giving it a go but there others.... Drinky looks very frustrated. Feel for Vardy who seemed to get a bollocking from Claudio at one point despite the fact no one has been passing forward. Simpson doesn't look at it at all, possibly due to lack of cover.

At least I'm getting a tan.
 
Simpson 3/10 gray again no end product, CR insisting on trying to get his signings into the team, 3 CM playing in the middle ****ing clueless no shape no balance no creativity, the only time we do anything is when DD is in the middle CR is hurting us big time take gray off put Shinji upfront and put a ****ing right winger on the pitch !!!!
 
This really is terrible and agree with Miles that it seems the players may have lost faith in Ranieri as they're certainly not happy.

Can't say I blame them tbh with stuff like playing Drinkwater on the right.

Defence a total shambles and need a couple in before the window otherwise we're going to be in a relegation fight until the end of the season at this rate.
 
Think you're being unfair to Drinkwater. He's playing badly but it appears he just has no idea how to play RM andcover defensively. I think he's trying just inept. Wouldn't have him there though.

Fuchs and simpson are a complete mess.

huth only player doing anything decent at the back.

Mendy is doing some good things and some bad. NDidi best of a poor bunch.

Up front Okazaki is totally ineffective, Vardy continuing his form of the season and out best player Gray needs to know when to pass and have a better shot.

In short 7 players could be substituted here.

It was everything to do with the midfield that is why the back 4 is being over run Southamptons greates strength is from crosses so what do we do we set out a side as narrow as possible ?!!??

Indeed. Watch the first goal again and try to figure out who is marking the goalscorer.
 
In blaming the sun. Looks very hard to see the ball coming. Next half we should play long diagonal balls into the box and get Ulloa on and see if we can use the sun to get something out of this mess.
