I've just turned it on and Switzerland have just hit the post

Navas shot just wide a few minutes ago for Spain but to be honest they've done nothing else since I've been watching (cue Spanish equaliser). Swiss keeping it very tight.

Yeah, it's been a pretty entertaining game - Spain have dominated in terms of possession and chances created but either wastefulness or good Swiss defending have kept them out. The Swiss took their chance well and could have had another goal when one of their midfielders took on two Spanish defenders but then hit the post.

Just when Spain were beginning to run out of ideas, Navas and Torres came on and the whole side looked a lot more positive. Alonso was unlucky with his long range shot hitting the bar.

Five minutes added time (not sure where all that came from). Looks like the Swiss are trying to a bit of time now and disrupt the Spanish by making subs. I reckon it will stay as it is.

It was very much like watching Arsenal. Pretty, but no real threat. That said, the shot that hit the bar would have been a scorcher.
