Can somebody please get a grip on these speculation threads, stick them into rumours or something, since Sven arrived we've been linked with almost every player who can still walk, it's simply boring. No doubt the NOW, plus other rags with have a stack of new names tomorrow, who can, maybe or just might join Leicester. Then we will start with the Mirror ,Sun,Mail etc on Monday.

The problem with having them all in one thread is that people don't notice them, so they get posted again and again, and discussion about one particular player can be mixed in with a lot of other stuff, making it hard to read.

At least if they have a thread each people know what the latest speculation is without having to read through the whole thread to find out.

Wouldn't the best solution for all then be to have a Rumours sub-forum (akin to the Jokes forum in the General Chat one) so that people can drop in as and when they want to without it otherwise intruding?

If it was a busier forum that might be a good idea, but when the main LCFC page has posts going back three days it doesn't take much effort for people to just disregard the speculation threads.


I'm still trying to work out why people have problems with the speculation threads though. I don't think anyone's come up with a reason that makes sense so far.
