Never mind Button, If someone who wins one race in a season is the best we've got then we may as well not take part in competitive sport.

Monty is roaring into pole position and is now as short as 3/1 in some places. 26 wickets this summer in test matches which is more than any other bowler. The fans love him and he is a great character. If Walliams wins it above of him then I will actually vomit.

In much the same way that Walliams would vomit over Monty if he baked him a cake......:icon_wink :icon_lol:

It's getting very close and I still can't think of anybody who can justify winning this award.

I don’t like the bloke and he came over as a complete tosser on soccer am the other week but I think andy murrey will get it.

What are the odds on Darren Clarke?

IMO David Wailliams should win, ok he is not an athlete but he swam the channel ffs and he did it in a very respectable time. Beats some posh tart jumping over fences on her pony.

But many other people have swam the channel and not won the Sports Personality of the Year?
