So the Royal Blue is certainly safe, but "comment regarding the patch have been noted" seems to suggest that it is going to be a patch.

I'm sure they will do, it's not something that happens quickly though if it's being made just for us.
I'm sure if it wasn't for the club wanting something to show with the new signings we wouldn't have seen it until they'd finalised it.

There is no need to, discussed with the club yesterday & both of the above points will be as above in the proper shirt.

I don't think there is any harm at all in individual supporters sending in their views. It's important that the club do know the strength of feelings on such matters.

Also, you will have seen my last posting in this thread. I am still concerned that the sposor's logo will be on a patch, as per 2006/2207 and as per the mock-up. Why else would Peter Jones just have noted my comments rather than saying that the final version would not be a patch. He was clear about the colour - why not about the patch?

Just had a second response from Peter Jones - I had replied that I was disappointed that my comment on the patch had only been noted. This time he says:

I would ask that you watch the space regarding the patch and hopefully the finished product will be to your liking.

Looks as though they are trying to do something about the patch - and I will be watching the space.

Just for info, it will be on the proper version & the latest mock up is still not the correct blue that will be used either.

Being a designer I know damn well it isn't hard to produce a sticker to go on the front that hasn't got a great bit block behind it. If JAKO haven't got a plotter to cut it out for the mock up then I seriously worry about them making our shirts.

Either way whoever printed it out should have used a plotter as it's a shit mock up if that's not how it will look.
