I agree with most of that, except Stearman, he is consistently hopeless and isn't improving at all.
And for the boot, I suggest, deep breath.... Cort, Newton, Kishishev, Hammond, Douglas, De Vries, Hellings, Maybury, Neilsen.
If Holloway can get rid of all of those he will be a genius.

John - If we can extend his loan it could be worth it.
Hume - Retain - But we should be looking beyond him (vastly overrated!).
Fyratt - Sell, someone will buy hugely overrated has had plenty of chances to prove himself and failed every time.

Signings? I'd suggest a decent, strong target man - Beyond that not sure if we cant hang onto John then we can look for a more mobile striker as well.

In January we desperately need:

Fulop
A good, solid left-back, ala Clive Clarke before his incident
A right winger
A left winger
Norris from Plymouth
A centre forward who knows where the ****ing goal is

Get all those in and we will still only be half decent. We could also do with another right back. I know we have 27 on the books already but apart from Chambers they are all crap. 2 new central mdfielders along with Norris so we can have some strength in depth. Andy King looks like a decent prospect but Clemence so far has proved to be nothing except well below average and Wesolowski will never have an extended run in the team so we can't rely on him. An additional left and right winger would be nice so we don't have to ever see the likes of Newton again.

Nielsen, Kishishev, Cort, Newton, Hellings, Hammond, DeVries, Dodds, Maybury, Douglas and John can all **** off in the short-term.

In the long term (close season) I'd be happy to see Henderson, N'Gotty (does he have another season in him), Clemence, Fryatt, Kaebi, Hayes, Stearman, Logan and Kenton all leave.

Of the current squad that leaves:

Fulop (hopefully)
Sheehan, Hume, Wesolowski, King (first team / squad player)
Chambers, McAuley, Kisnorbo, Campbell (first team)
Mattock, Porter, Gradel, Sappleton, Odihambo, Chambers (kept for their potential)

Clemance is a good footballer, but we haven't seen the best of him, though its pretty hard when no one in front or wide of you looks like they want the ball.

We have a very poor squad, but I think that it will be impossible to bring in a large number of decent players in January. If we bring in players just for the sake of changes then I think it will increase the instability and the chances of us being relegated.

If it was possible to find a decent midfielder and a decent goal scorer (highly improbable) then Holloway will have done well.

Or play one of them or bring one or two on after a hour rather than putting the poor sods in from the beginning because the likes of Newton are so woeful we have no choice
