Same here but there is not one single player in the current sqad that fits that description.

Weso is a defensive midfielder - and most good teams have a defensive midfielder in their starting line-up, often the most important player in the team (look at Makelele, Keane etc. etc and no, I'm not comparing Weso to them). The problem is surely that we don't have an attacking creative midfielder to complement him. He works bloody hard, he doesn't shirk tackles, he's still very young with bags of potential, he scores a few goals, he appears to genuinely care whether we win / lose and he rarely puts in dissappointing performances. He does have a tendency to go missing for twenty minutes in a game, but of all the people that we should be talking about trying to offload, surely Weso shouldn't come anywhere near that list.

After almost universal criticism of the wholesale shipping in of players during the summer, it would appear that everyone posting upon this thread is suggesting the solution to be,"chuck them all out and ship in dozens more".
Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Is that really what we want?
Two, or three good signings please, NOT wholesale change.

More worrying is his tendency to go missing (from the team) for weeks and weeks at a time

Alright, but when this kid first burst on the scene he was full of energy,did get forward more, but secure enough defensively was a hot bundle but since his Broken legs he has lost this energy which surprised me for a kid so young

Is it because he has a weakness in his legs now?? I dont profess to know, but somethings wrong

Clemence is only half the man he was at Brum god alone knows why...... both go missing at vital stages in matches
both show tendencies to to be over eager in there passing with the resulting breakdowns usually harming us, I'm all for a defensive minded midfielder but they have to concentrate for 90 mins,and at the moment they are making a raw-boned kid look after himself far to much in matches..... when they are the ones who should be getting to grips with the game

I personally vetoed any votes for you from anyone in any category on the grounds that you are not one of my mates plus I think you might smell
