The Walkers capacity is 32500:102: . If some kind of Roman Amoneybitch walked into our club, what is the potential development of the stadium? Could it be extended on all sides of the ground? I know this isn't going to happen in the near future, but if city did manage to find their feet again and established itself back in the prem, then i just wondered whether we will ever see a 40000+ stadium in the city.

I thought the original design allowed for development by putting a cantilevered second tier over the East stand for approx 7000. I do not think they can build over the North and South stands.

probably due to the road behind the family stand and the car park behind the kop?

i believe the stadium can be upgraded to 40,000 by extending the east stand. if the above happened i would cry with delight

I thought that the ground could be extended to 42 or 43,000. Not sure which stands would be built on top of though, I would guess the Kop and the A&L stand.

can they not add capacity downwards, by lowering the pitch, or is that somewhere else?

Spot On. Could happen if the World Cup was to be held in England in the near future.

We proven in our sole Premier season at the Walkers, 32k crowds can be got and not just one or twice.

And most games in the promotion season too (The Milwall one was really great)

We rarely filled Filbert Street under MON, in his last season we averaged less than 20,000.

Yes but with the Walkers we substanly made it open to sponsors and families. So with the added success factor, the crowds would have be averaging 30k maybe in a season of MON's period.
