Not really. From the day it was built it had a huge loan attached, so in name it may have been in the ownership of the club, but there was a sodding great mortgage attached.Would "Leicester City Regain Ownership of Their Own Stadium" be an accurate title?

We still owe the money for the stadium. The only difference in debt is who we owe it to.
The benefit is that the rent will be negligible.
Also gives the Thais a hold over the club should hey wish/have to sell.
