You love it when I moan.........

Find me 40s, and I'll stick a ton on it

You haven't got a ton.Theres 1000's of punters like you in the Betting shops around the land. They whinge about poor prices you quote them a decent price and they stick 25p each way on them..... ;-)

I always stick a ton or so on at the start of the season - not necessarily on us, though

But only when the price is right, and it ain't right at 33/1

I apologise sincerely for that Boc didn't see it.Incidentally do you consider 33/1 a decent price? and will you be backing us at 33's or demanding '250/1- No win your stakes returned' like a certain Ton Waving Tosser on here?

Can some kind soul post the full totesport list please, rather than the link

Thank you, ducky

Stoke 50/1
Millwall 66/1
QPR 66/1
Burnley 80/1

All finished above us last year, and all have appropriate prices

We don't

Seriously...it does tend to go on a teams past reputation than their recent/last seasons finishing position. For instance I'd imagine Everton will be a bigger price than Liverpool in The Prem next year. Those 4 you named haven't been in the Top Flight for a long time hence their price.I believe 33/1 is a decent price for us and I'll back us mainly for sentiment,I back us every year to win everything.

Interestingly for me, why are Leeds closed does somebody know something we dont.

I think 33/1 is a fairly decent price especially as we could do a Sunderland if CL can bring in 3 or 4 good signings we will have a chance although each way is probably the more likely outcome.

so why the **** are hull at 25/1? they didnt piss on league 1 and they wont touch the top half of the table in the championship. are people scared of shitty hull or what?

would i be right in saying that TOTE odds are worked out differently to other bookies??

for one I think you dont get back the stake you put on in the first place as you do with regular bookies so therefore they provide "better" odds than most places. So therefore 33/1 on TOTESPORT is not much better than 20/1 with most other bookies. Also with TOTESPORT if their footie works the same as the horse racing they do, then you have to take the price when the horses go to post/teams start the season not when you put the money on. I dont think you can take the odds like you can with other bookies but i might be wrong on this last point.

Depends :!:   ;-) I think in the case of the football they will be the usual bookmaker type odds. :P :P  ;-)

No,Totesport are just another High Street Bookmakers. You are thinking of the ' Tote' which operates in Horse Racing and is a form of Pool betting i.e your stakes going into a the Pool and your winnings are decided by the percentage on your horse, its complicated to explain. Totesport are just normal Bookmakers hence you can take 33/1 LCFC right now, they've plenty of shops in Leicester because they bought out local Leicester firm Manny Bernstein a few years back.Betting on any Sports event with Totesport is exactly the same as Hills,Corals,Ladbrokes except the prices/odds are different.

It is a matter of gambling, why did I not just defer to you :?:

My starting xi would be as follows based on current squad and the more likely signings. It would be a 4-4-2 but a diamond formation.

Douglas

Maybury McCarthy Laursen Tiatto

Kisnorbo

Sylla Hughes

Williams

De Vries Connolly

Subs

Henderson
Dublin
Stewart
Stearman
Gudjonsson

This formation would allow us to be more fluid in attack with Kisnorbo shielding the back 4 and allowing Sylla, Williams and Hughes to push on, Williams and Hughes could interchange whilst still be able to provide width from Hughes and Sylla when required, this formation would also allow both full backs to get forward and whip crosses in. We need a formation that allows both Williams and Hughes, undoubtedly the best 2 footballers in our squad, to play in the same side and to both have licence to influence our play and the game.

there's my little outside bet.

well done for finding 33's for us, a few golden sovereigns will be invested (unwisely) there in the next few days...

All makes a lot of sense that team to me, be nice to have Bothroyd up front though wouldn't it? Also, I actually think Hughes could be better in that Williams position, I'm not sure of Williams, although I saw some glipmses of quality, Hughes' link up play with Connolly looked great at times towards the end of last season...
