Steak recommendation

Can someone recommend a place for a nice steak thats not in the City. A nice country pub would be great, but i'd welcome other suggestions so long as its not in the town centre. Will need some ideas fairly quickly on this one.

Who knows, but I had an outstanding steak at The Greyhound in Lutterworth - it was the best steak I'd had on this continent.

We had a couple of nice steaks at The Cedars in Evington back in August. Came with all the trimmings and for a special deal £15 for 2 steaks and a full bottle of red wine. The other 7 people in the party had nice meals as well. I was pleasantly surprised.

Good few years since i was in there, always a favourite. Also used to frequent the Pear Tree and Wheatsheaf ( didn't Birch used to run it )

They do indeed, although the food in general there is a bit crap.
