What does Stephen Hughes offer us.. and no i'm not just saying this because he gave away the ball for their goal today.

When he plays out on the right he is anonymous. When he plays in the middle he offers nothing defensively and nothing offensively. When he plays on the left he is even worse than when he plays on the right.

How exactly does he benefit the team?

Seriously at this moment in time, I would seriously consider transfer listing every member of the first team except Logan and start again. And the sooner Kelly steps aside the better. I have never known us as toothless.

He has let me down as I feel that he has potential to be a class midfielder and many on here will know that I am the first to defend him when others criticise and compare him to Williams. I still maintain he is a better player than Williams but have got agree with you LF about him being anonymous out on the right but then again most of our midfield and attackers are pretty well anonymous in most games we play as the hardest workers seem to be the back 4.
Hughsie benefits the team as he is the most likeley of the midfielders to snatch a goal.

hasn't got the necessary physical presence for this league, is incapable of making a one touch pass and always seems to need more time on the ball than is available

If it stays the same scoreline at the end of this game, the last 5 league games will have yielded 2 points and 1 goal that at this level of football, is nowhere near good enough.

If a player plays so bad its unbelieveable he should be dropped and Mr.Kelly didnt do that for today's game. Very angry about that decision. Weso and Williams in midfield.

He should train with the under 8's because then at least he might have a chance of staying on his feet some of the time. Hughes is UTTER RUBBISH! I've never been so angry about a players performance as this!

We have no decent central midfielders other than Wesolowski, all the rest are just pure crap IMO
