If we are going to achieve anything with this crop of players we have to play and get the best out of Williams and Hughes, who have both underperformed when played this season, as they are our two most skillfull midfielders IMO.

hughes hasnt had enough games to underperform. he is a quality player and given a run of games i could see him come good. personally i think williams (along with many city fans) can't wait until january

If he retired now we'd still have to pay him up to the end of his contract, like we did with Jones.

If he's not going to play we could at least make him do something useful, I'm sure he'd be able to do a better job than some of the people who work in the kiosks on match day.
