Leicester v Stoke
Danny Tiatto misses out for Leicester as he completes a three-match ban.

Stephen Hughes continues to be troubled by an ankle problem, while Patrick Kisnorbo will play no part as he recovers from knee surgery.

Stoke are hoping to win an appeal over Gerry Taggart's red card against Sheffield Wednesday but if not, he will miss three games.

Darel Russell (hamstring) could also be missing along with skipper Michael Duberry (thigh).

Still no Hughes. :icon_eek: :icon_cry: :icon_sad:

One Change For Stoke Clash

Manager Craig Levein has made just one change to his starting line up for the visit of Stoke City to the Walkers Stadium (ko 7:45pm).

The Foxes more than matched their opponents in the season opener against Sheffield United at the weekend, but found themselves on the wrong end of a 4-1 scoreline.

And Levein will now be hoping that his troops can bounce back in style against Johan Boskamp's Potters.

The only change comes in defence, where Richard Stearman makes way for Peter Gilbert, allowing Alan Maybury to return to his more favoured right-back role.

Rab Douglas makes his second start for the side in goal, with a back four of Maybury, Paddy McCarthy, Nils-Eric Johansson and Gilbert playing in front of him.

Momo Sylla, Gareth Williams, Joey Gudjonsson and Jason Wilcox again make up the midfield, while David Connolly and Mark de Vries are named in attack.

Former Fox Gerry Taggart is named on the bench for the visitors after having a red card from Stoke's opener against Sheffield Wednesday overturned.

City: Douglas, Maybury, McCarthy, Johansson, Gilbert, Sylla, Gudjonsson, Williams, Wilcox, Connolly, de Vries.
Subs: Henderson, Gerrbrand, Stearman, Hammond, Wright.

Stoke: Simonsen, Hoefkens, Broomes, Duberry, Brammer, Sidibe, Russell, Junior, Chadwick, Kolar, Halls.
Subs not used: de Goey, Dyer, Taggart, Henry, Buxton.

A little disappointed that Stearman is left out, but it will be good to see how Gilbert does, and Maybury is definetely better at RB..

COME ON CITY!

Tommy Wright on the bench! No Dion!?

Dion has had a back spasm. :icon_eek: :icon_cry: :icon_sad:

Henry, if that was him playing, sounds pretty good. ;) :icon_lol:

Stearman is unfortunate to miss out after a very good performance on saturday but maybe CL feels that Maybury at RB and Gilbert at LB who is a natural left sided player will give us a better balanced side.

I do hope his injury isn't going to be one of these which never seems to clear up,I find it slightly worrying to be honest.
