One thing I've noticed since COVID... They never show players warming up getting ready to come on any more. I've been noticing over the last month and I swear I've not seen any camera go to a player warming up down the touchline.

Anyone know why? I assume it's change due to covid protocols they probably can't warm up like that. But anyone know what they do instead?

Do they go warm up in the changing rooms or something?

You never see them. The ball just goes out and boom they're on. No warning.

Maybe it’s tactical in the same way as covering your mouth or hiding your notes from the camera is.
