Blimey City interested in a Worthing player:icon_eek:

Not sure I can remember over the years that this happened before as I have followed Worthing since the early 80's when I lived there when I went to regular home games and some away games and still look for their results - they are currently gunning for promotion from Rymans South. They almost got into todays equivalent of the Blue Square Premiership back in the 80's when they had a very attacking team.

This lad on trial played last season as well and seemed to score regularly when they got into the playoffs but lost at the semi-final stage
Quote from another website "Worthing Football Club striker Mickey Demetriou the dream is now a reality. After a series of trials over the past month, Demetriou, 18, has made it into the 18-man England Colleges squad and will be on England duty in January"
His trial proved successful there so who knows he could be coming to us in the Summer.
If he is driving from Worthing himself then good luck to him - it was a 160 mile drive via the M25 and there was always hold-ups and traffic has got worse in 20 years

Would prefer Jason Demetriou from Leyton Orient, oh well sign him Nige we need a few new strikers and he is young.

Demetriou's a midfielder isn't he?

He scores cracking goals too if this excert is anything to go by -
