I'm getting a sinking feeling.

I think that this is unnecessarily pessimistic: when we have a manager sharp enough to have concieved such a cunning plan as to have the strikers score more goals, surely the future is rosy.
GM has expressed pleasure that we conceed so few, and now, with this brilliant perspicacity, we can only be two stages from success: viz - that our goalkeeper needs to continue to deal with balls that get past the defence and that the midfield need to ....... no, that may be a stage too far.
Well, three out of four should be enough for this division!
