Never travel on Christmas Eve. Been listed on 3 flights as standby, getting ****ed over royally. Looks like Christmas morning will be spent trying to find a flight:icon_evil:icon_cry:
 
They should be offering you £500 at least and a hotel room, if not kick up a ****ing fuss.
 
was it a case of "Houston: we have a problem" ?

We flew out of JFK on christmas eve. no problems at all. Not that this helps you.
