Sunday League Football 2012/2013

As the new season is now well underway I thought I'd kick start a new thread covering Sunday League football!

Since the last thread my four year stay at Quenniborough Park Rangers has come to an end and I've moved To CSKA Carnabys in division 4 of the Leicester Alliance League.

We won our first game 5-3 on Sunday against Countersthorpe Ath.

Anybody else playing this year?

I'll be turning out for Hillsborogh Club fc in the Sheffield Imperial League Division three this season. First game next Sunday.

Nice, good standard? What position do you play?

I play in the Blackpool and District Youth League for Layton Juniors. We've lost both our first two games, but mostly due to piss poor officiating and a shite midfield. :icon_lol:

Standard is ok for Sunday league, we are in the fourth tier though! I play right/left mid or right/left back. Any good results today? We lost six nil, although I was away, as was our first choice 'keeper!

Almost forgot about this thread!

We have had a fantastic start to the season winning our first 3 games and drawing 2-2 on Sunday.

It's been hard work though! Some real tests and we haven't yet won a game comfortably!
