Anything less than 3 points tomorrow is a disaster. Hull probably can't wait for us to arrive & will be absolutely confident of winning.

The whole league can smell blood in the water now & we can expect extra effort from every team we play. We could do with winning the next 4 & calming them all the **** down again.

Right then. Biggest game of the season (again).
Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, we discover all about Leicester City FC.

Exciting times.

Sunderland last 10 games:

W 2
D 1
L 7

Not exactly sparking form…hopefully the good charity that is LCFC will not show up this evening.

View from the opposition fans (I haven’t read it):

Hypothetical question time. Would you take winning the FA Cup and no promotion over promotion and no FA Cup?

Exciting times.

No need for the rubber sheets tonight

We’ll absolutely smash these ****s

They are in a mess. We've had a wobble but will be fine. You bunch of bed pissing wankers.

These are absolutely shit

FA Cup please. Trophy every. single. time.

What does the Premier League mean for us as fans? More money doesn't actually mean anything to fans does it? Just means our players get paid more and tickets cost more.

And VAR comes back.

Don't get me wrong, I want to win this league, but assuming 'promotion' in the question above means either 2nd or via playoffs, the decision is easy.

Now if you said win the league or win the FA Cup, that changes things. I think I'd then take win the league - because that comes with records AND a trophy AND promotion.

Not getting promoted could destroy this team in more ways than one .
For the greater good, promotion
Indeed, financially we have to be dining at the top table at the wedding even if we aren’t the bride or groom or even any of the bridesmaids.

Trying to **** either the bride or one of the bridesmaids (not the ugly Spurs lookalike one) should be the target.

Interesting. So play that out for a minute or two -

23/24 season FA Cup, miss out on promotion OR Up to Premier League
24/25 mid table championship OR Relegated from PL / midrange prem
25/26 mid table championship OR Maybe Back up to PL / midrange prem
26/27 mid table championship OR 13th in PL
27/28 mid table championship OR 13th in PL

Not much of a history on the right is it? I don't see the draw from a fans perspective of anything but winning trophies. Unless you work for or with the club, there's no financial gain for fans of going up, so why not take the silverware?

You'd rather be sat at the top table as an also ran rather than have your own wedding?

But your wedding is on a small budget with the reception at a working man’s club where they haven’t even covered up the dart board or pool table.

The food is shocking and the bride looks like a stuffed pig as she’s 8 months pregnant.

There are no free drinks and there’s a punch up at the reception (the bridesmaids FFS).

The beer is warm and it’s Carlsberg.

I think I probably would. We're not going to go up with a record number of points and will probably come straight back down. So, yeh, I reckon.
