can someone explain to me the super 8's. i played cricket for years and feel like a total dumass.

what are the general guidlines that make it super 8's.

It's eight teams playing each other in a league - they only play 6 matches each at this stage though because the result against the other group qualifier is carried through to the super 8s.

Top four go into the semi finals.
 
The Ireland commentator in the S.Afica/ Ireland game made me smile
