Super League promoter A22 Sports said it submitted a proposal to UEFA and FIFA, asking football's governing bodies to formally recognise its right to organise a new European competition.

I see mass disillusionment within the game, at all levels. Time for a reset.

I’ll say it again, but we won’t be losing them, this would be on top of it. I would happily lose them, even if it sees a massive reset for us and those left, but it won’t happen.

Yep. It'd be better without the ****s but clubs will bow to whatever they want.

I think people are nostalgic for previous experiences at football. But I don't believe this scheme, or any similar super league, will bring those experiences back.

A new premier league without the big 6 will just feel empty.

Football has changed. And for Leicester and most other clubs in the top two leagues, it won't change for the better any time soon.
